WHEEL BUILDING WORKSHOP
DATE:  Monday April 12, 2010  6PM - 9PM
WHERE:  525 N. 33rd ST, Omaha, NE

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO PRESENT THE FOLLOWING CLASS ! !

Due to demand and a waiting list, we have scheduled another Wheel Building Workshop.

MONDAY APRIL 12, 2010

The previous workshop that was offered in February was full, and from the feedback we received, it was a success.  It was our first such workshop, and we did have a couple of agenda hiccups.  We are using the lessons learned to make some fine adjustments to the format and the curriculum.  This may be the only wheel you ever build, but it is a wonderful educational opportunity to understand the complexity in something as rudimentary as lacing a spoked wheel. We are suggesting a minimum age of 14 years old for participants.

Wheel Lacing / Building - How to build a wheel from a hub, a handful of spokes, and a loose rim.

Your instructor will be Gary Gebhard, a dedicated bicycling advocate and previous professional bicycle mechanic.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - we only have space for 12.

To reserve a space, there is a $5 fee.  We accept paypal for the fee which automatically registers you, too.

You can bring your own parts to build a wheel that you can keep, or we will provide all required parts.  If you use our parts, then we will use the wheel in our bike programs -- you won't be able to keep it.
